Our facility is located out on the Vadilli Bhavnagar Highway, right near the GIDC area. It’s a busy spot because of all the industry nearby, but we have our own space to work in. Janak Dehydration is all about taking fresh produce and drying it down. It’s a process that takes a lot of watching it close. We spend our time watching the dryers and making sure the temperature is just right for whatever vegetable we are doing. The air around here usually smells like onions, which is a big part of our daily work. We have a lot of local workers who help with the sorting and the cleaning. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and moving heavy bags around. We don’t have a fancy reception area; if you come to see us, you’ll probably find us on the floor or in the warehouse. The highway noise is just a constant background sound we don't notice anymore. We’ve been operating here for a while and have seen the area change around us. It’s a practical business. We don't use big words or have complicated meetings. We just look at what’s coming in from the farms and get it ready for shipping out. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside, but it’s what we’ve always done. We just keep the machines running and the bags filled for the next shipment.
