Our facility is out at Plot 43 in the industrial area here in Bhavnagar district. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main town, but that's where the space is for this kind of operation. Since we deal with food, things have to stay a certain way, mostly clean and orderly on the floor. But the office side of things is where the real mess of papers is. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with suppliers and making sure the trucks are on schedule. The dust from the road outside usually finds its way in no matter how much we sweep. Working in food means there is always a lot of checking and re-checking things. We have a post box, number 12, for all our mail since the industrial plots can be hard for the postman to find sometimes. The sun gets really strong here in the afternoons, making the tin roofs loud as they expand. It’s a practical place. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big lobby for guests. People come here to work and then go home. We’ve got a small team that manages the day-to-day stuff. Sometimes we have to stay late when a shipment is delayed or if there's a problem with the machinery. It’s just the way it goes in this line of work. Bhavnagar is home, and this plot is where we do what we do every single day.
