Kisan Foods

Down here in Village Mahuva, life moves at its own speed. Our place is tucked away near the Shiv Temple, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. Being out here in Tehsil Mahuva, away from the big city noise of Bhavnagar, is actually quite nice. We are right by the post office too. Most of what we do at Kisan Foods revolves around the local crops and what the farmers are bringing in. The seasons really dictate how busy we are. When it is harvest time, nobody gets much sleep. There are tractors and carts coming and going all day long. In the quieter months, we spend time fixing up the equipment and getting ready for the next rush. The temple bells are a nice sound to have in the background while we work. It makes the day feel a bit more peaceful even when we have a lot to do. We are just local people working with what the land gives us. It is not a flashy operation. We have got dirt on our boots most days. That is just how it is when you work in food and agriculture in a village. We know everyone around here by name. If someone stops by, we usually have time for a quick tea. It is a community thing as much as it is a job for us.
