Indian Stone House

We are located at Pusa Niwas, which is right behind the Ashoka Hotel. It’s a decent spot because the hotel is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Our yard is usually quite full with various types of stones, from rough sandstone to smoother pieces meant for flooring. We don't have a big fancy entrance, just a gate that stays open most of the day while we move material around. It’s often just a few of us here, checking the stock and helping people decide on what they need for their garden paths or house fronts. The area behind the hotel is a bit quieter than the main road, which is nice when we’re trying to talk to a customer about dimensions. We have piles of stones everywhere, and sometimes it feels like we’re running out of space, but we always manage to fit one more delivery in somehow. We’ve been at Pusa Niwas for several years now, and the building itself is starting to show its age, but it serves us well for what we do. There’s no polished marketing here, just a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the stones are cut to the sizes people asked for. We usually finish up as the sun sets, leaving the yard organized as best as we can for the next day.
