Raghukul Stone Gallery

Our place, Raghukul Stone Gallery, is situated in Village Pur. It is in the Tehsil Pur area, which is a quiet spot most of the time. We aren’t located in a big city center, so things move at a bit of a slower pace here. We have a selection of stones kept out in the open so people can actually see the colors and the textures under the natural light. It’s better that way than looking at a catalog. Most of our visitors are people from the nearby villages or the district who are building something small or working on their homes. We don't have a polished showroom with air conditioning. It is mostly just a yard with stacks of stone and a small shed where we keep the records and sit for a tea. Sometimes the rain makes the ground a bit muddy, but we still manage to get things moved around. We handle the loading ourselves or help the drivers get everything secured on their tractors. It is hard work because stone is heavy and doesn't always behave. We have been in this village for quite a while, and everyone around here knows where to find us. We don't do much in the way of advertising. We just wait for people to drop by when they need something for their construction. It’s a simple way of doing business, and it seems to work for us.
