You can find us at Badla Chauraha in Shastri Nagar. We are pretty close to the Bullet Tower, which is how most people find their way here in Bhilwara. We’ve been working with stone in this area for a long time. The yard is always a bit chaotic with slabs leaning against each other. We try to keep them organized by type, but things get moved around a lot. It’s a dusty job, especially when the wind picks up. We spend our days showing customers the different shades and textures we have in. Some days it’s just us and the machines. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights and stuff. You just see the stone as it is, usually with a bit of dirt on it. We give it a wash so you can see the real color. It’s honest work. We deal with all sorts of people, from contractors to folks just fixing up their homes. We don’t use any big sales pitches. We just tell you what we have and what it costs. Sometimes we run out of certain things and have to wait for the next truck. That’s just the way the stone business goes. We like being in Bhilwara. It’s a busy place and there’s always something happening at the chauraha. We’ve got a couple of old trucks that we use for the local deliveries. They aren't much to look at, but they get the job done.
