We are set up at Plot No. A203 on Sanganer Road, not too far from Gayatri Ashram. It’s a dusty spot, but that’s what happens when you’re dealing with stone all day. We have stacks of different materials piled up in the yard. It isn't a pretty sight like a garden, but it’s where we work. We spend a lot of time outside, checking the quality of the stones that arrive on the trucks. Sometimes the sun is really beating down on us, but we just wear our hats and keep going. Shree Shiv Stone Suppliers isn't a big corporation. It’s just us and a few workers who know how to handle the heavy lifting. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we have, you just walk around the yard with us and we’ll show you the different slabs. We try to be honest about what each type of stone is good for. If a piece has a crack or a flaw, we tell you. There’s no point in hiding it because it just causes trouble later. Most of our days are spent talking to contractors or people building their own small houses. We don't use a lot of complicated words. We just talk about the weight, the price, and when we can get it delivered. It's basic, hard work, and we're used to the grit and the noise of the yard while we get through the day's orders.
