Dhan Lakshmi Granite

Our place is in the village of Gyangarh, which falls under the Mandal Taluka. We are right by the village post office. It is a quiet area out here, away from the big city noise and traffic. We have been working with granite in this spot for a long time. The yard is just a flat piece of land where we keep the big blocks and slabs. Everything is a bit rugged. We don't have any paved floors or fancy offices. It is just the village post and the surrounding fields in the Dist. Most of the people who work here are from the village itself. We know everyone who walks through the gate. The work is hard on the back and the hands, but it is steady. We wake up early when the air is still cool to start moving the inventory around. By the afternoon, the sun is high and we usually take a long break in the shade. We don't use much technology, just our eyes and some basic tools to measure things. Sometimes a truck gets stuck in the mud when it rains, and we all have to go out and help push it. It is just a simple life focused on the stone we get from the earth. People come from the district to see what we have because they know we are here every day. It is not complicated, just honest work in the village with people we know well.
