Charbhuja Stone

If you head down Bundi Road toward the village of Bijoliya, you will find us at Charbhuja Stone. This part of the country is quiet most of the time, except for the sound of the traffic on the main road nearby. We have been working with stones here for quite some time now. It’s not an easy life, lifting and moving heavy pieces all day, but it is what we know. The village atmosphere is nice because you get to know everyone who passes through. Sometimes we are out in the yard under the sun, and other times we are just sitting in the shade waiting for the next delivery. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Our place is just a regular stone yard where the work gets done. People from the surrounding areas come to us when they are building a wall or a floor. We show them the different types of stone we have available at the moment. It changes depending on what comes in from the quarries. Life in Bijoliya moves a bit slower than the city, which suits us just fine. We just try to be honest about what we have. Sometimes the yard gets messy with chips and scrap stone, but that is how a working site looks. We take things one day at a time here near the road and keep ourselves busy with the work at hand.
