Suraj Foods

Suraj Foods is based out of Plot No.- 191 in Gidc Chitra. We are right across from Madhu Cilica, which is a big landmark around here. Working in an industrial area like GIDC means there is always noise and trucks moving around. It is quite dusty on the roads but inside we try to keep things as clean as possible for the food stuff we handle. The building is a basic industrial plot, nothing special to look at from the outside. We spend most of our time in the back where the actual work happens. The mornings are usually the craziest because that’s when the deliveries arrive and we have to sort everything out. Sometimes the power goes out or a machine acts up, and we just have to deal with it and keep moving. It’s not a glamorous job but it is honest work. We have a few people who have been with us for years now. We know the neighbors and the tea stall guy down the road pretty well. Lunch is usually just sitting around a small table talking about whatever is in the news. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We just want to get the food orders out on time and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a simple life at Plot 191, just staying busy and keeping the business running. We have had some good days and some bad days over here, but we keep at it.
