We’re located at B/32 in the Marketing Yard at Chitra GIDC. Being in an industrial area like this means there is always a lot of noise from trucks and nearby factories. We handle food products. Most of our work happens right here in the warehouse area. We spend the day sorting through supplies and making sure everything is stored properly. It’s not a clean office job. We’re often moving crates or checking on the temperature of the storage units. The dust from the yard gets in sometimes, so we’re always cleaning the floors. We have a few people working the shifts to keep everything moving. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. People who need to find us usually know where we are in the GIDC. It’s hard work and the days can be long, especially during the harvest seasons when more goods are coming in. We eat our lunch together in the small break room when we get a chance. There isn't any fancy corporate talk here. We just focus on the food we’re handling and making sure it gets to where it needs to go. Sometimes the machinery acts up, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it instead of doing the regular chores. That’s just how it is working in a place like this. It keeps us all busy.
