Down here on Rampara Road in Talaja, things stay pretty dusty and busy most of the year. We are located in the Bhavnagar district, which means we are right in the thick of things when it comes to the local agricultural cycle. Our facility at Fivestar Dehydration Pvt Ltd is where all the processing happens. It is a loud place, full of the sound of blowers and conveyor belts running all day. We aren't sitting in a fancy office; most of the time we are out on the floor checking the machines or talking to the drivers bringing in the raw materials. The sun can be really brutal in this part of Gujarat, so the shed gets quite hot, but that’s just part of the job. We have a small crew of local people who have been with us for a long time. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising because word of mouth around the district keeps us occupied enough. Some days the machinery breaks down and we spend the whole afternoon covered in grease trying to get it back online. It’s a straightforward operation where we focus on getting the moisture out of the products so they can be shipped off. There’s nothing polished about it, just a lot of hard work in a big shed on the edge of town. We just try to get through the daily list and get everyone home on time.
