Starr Food Export Llp

Starr Food Export Llp operates out of Plot Number 38 A on Gokulnagar Jadra Road. It’s a bit of an open area, and we have a fair amount of space on our plot. We focus on the export side of the food business, which means we deal with a lot of shipping containers and large crates. Our building is more of a warehouse than a fancy office. We have a small corner walled off where we keep the computer and the files, but the rest of the space is for the goods. It can get pretty hot inside during the summer, so we have a couple of large fans going all day. There is always a lot of noise from trucks backing in or people moving pallets around. It’s a gritty, hands-on kind of job. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure everything is packed tight for long journeys. We don't really have a marketing person or someone to write fancy slogans. We just make sure the food gets to where it’s going across the borders. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, making things a little difficult for the drivers, but we manage. It is just a regular local export business trying to do things right from our spot on Jadra Road. We’ve been here long enough that we know the drivers and the local guys pretty well. It’s just how we get by every month.
