Singdev Mahila Kisan Utpadak Producercompany Limited is a group of us women farmers in Village Hatawa, Tehsil Mada. You can find our office C/O Sanjay Kumar Shah. It’s just a small place in the village where we gather. We spent our lives in the fields, and now we are trying to manage things together as a company. It’s a lot of work on top of what we already do at home. Hatawa is a quiet place, but when it’s time to plant or harvest, everyone is busy. We don't have any fancy stuff in our office, just some chairs and our ledgers. We talk about seed prices and the weather more than anything else. It is very hard work, and our hands are always dirty from the soil. We aren't looking to be famous or anything. We just want to get a good price for what we grow. Mada is our home, and we know the land here very well. Sometimes the crops don't do so well, and we have to figure out what to do next. It is just a normal life for us. We are plain-speaking people and we don't have any marketing tricks. We just do the farming we've always done, but now we do it together.
