Dharmadevi Bio Energy Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located in Bhagaura, Sangipur, specifically at the home of Ram Chandra Pandey. Dharmadevi Bio Energy Farmer Producer Company Limited is a group of local farmers. We are looking into bioenergy, which is basically finding ways to use farm waste and other things for energy. It’s a bit of a new thing for some of us, but we are learning as we go. Sangipur is a quiet place and we mostly work with the people we have known our whole lives. Our office is just a simple room where we keep our files. We don’t have fancy equipment or a big lobby. Most of the work happens outside or in the small meetings we have to discuss the bioenergy plans. It is hard work trying to organize everyone, but we keep at it. We deal with a lot of different crops and leftovers from the harvest. Sometimes it’s messy and the days are long, especially when we are trying to figure out the technical parts of bioenergy. We are just a bunch of regular people trying to do something useful with what we grow on our farms. Ram Chandra Pandey’s place is the main spot for us to gather. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just talk to each other and try to make the company work for the village. It’s a slow process but we stay busy. We are just trying to make sense of the work and keep going.
