Jasrajsandhu Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Bagnera bagneri in the Amariya area. Palvinder Singh is the main contact at the office. We are a group of farmers who decided to team up to make things easier. Amariya is a nice place, but the work in the fields is always hard. Our office is just a small room with some chairs and a lot of registers stacked up. We spend most of our time talking to the men and women who work the land around here. It is all about the crops and making sure we get a fair shake at the market. Palvinder has his hands full with all the paperwork that comes with running a producer company. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to sit and wait it out. It is not a big deal, we are used to it. People from Bagnera drop in at all hours to ask about the latest news or to share a story from their day. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. Most of us come straight from the fields in our working clothes. We are just trying to build something that helps the local community stay strong and independent. There are no fancy brochures here. We just talk face to face and figure things out as they come. It is a lot of responsibility for everyone, but we take it one day at a time.
