Sheetalpal Farmer Producer Company is located over in Aurai, which is part of the Bhadohi district. Our office is actually at House Number 333 in the area of Po - Girdbaragaon. It is a quiet spot most of the time, though things get busy when the harvest season comes around and the local farmers start showing up to talk. We have a few desks and some chairs where people can sit and rest for a bit after their walk. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we keep our records and meet with the local folks from the village. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside in the shade of the trees to finish up our work. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the roads and the fields quite well. We spend a lot of our days just organizing things for the group and making sure people have what they need for their crops. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we usually have some cold water ready for anyone who stops by. It is just a few of us working here daily, handling the paperwork and checking the grain samples that people bring in to show us. We don't have a big sign or anything like that, but everyone in the village knows where House 333 is located. It feels like a second home because we spend so many hours here.
