You can find us over at Shahmau Kothi, which is where Gaja Dhar Singh and Jagdish Singh have their place. We are a kisan or farmer company, made up of people from this immediate area. The 229309 region is where we all belong. We started this because we needed a better way to get our produce to the market. Before this, it was every man for himself, which didn't work out very well. Now, we use the Kothi as a central spot to organize everything. It’s an old place, but it works for us. We don't have fancy furniture or computers for everyone. Most of our records are in big ledger books. It’s a bit dusty and there are always people coming in and out talking about the weather or the price of wheat. We don't put on any airs here. We’re just regular people who work hard in the fields all day. Sometimes we stay late to finish the counting or the sorting. It’s a simple operation, run by people who actually know how to grow things. We don't spend money on advertising. If you live around here, you already know where we are. We just focus on the crops and making sure the farmers get a fair deal at the end of the day. It’s a long road, but we’re walking it together with our neighbors. We just hope for a good harvest each year.
