You can find us at Paleshwar Dham Fed Farmers Producer Company Limited over in Haradauliblock. We are located near Anand Pratap’s place in the village. This part of Pahari is quiet usually, but things get busy when harvest time comes around. The post office is close by which helps with the mail. We started this because doing everything alone as a farmer is just too much. Now we have a group. We sit around and figure out who needs what for their land. It’s not a big corporate setup with suits. Most of the time we are just in our working clothes covered in dust. Sometimes the meetings take forever because everyone has a different opinion on the crops. But that’s how it goes in a village. We try to help each other out with the logistics of moving grain. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping track of bags. Anand stays on top of the records mostly. The building isn't much to look at but it serves the purpose for the farmers around Haradauli. We just want to make sure the work we do in the fields actually pays off at the end of the month. Weather is always a worry and the markets are never steady. We just take it as it comes and hope the next season is better than the last one was. It is just about survival and work.
