Neeraj Shergarh Producer Company Limited is based out of Shergarh, near Adampur in Mathura. The address is actually the home of Pooranmal, who is the son of Gyasi Ram. Most of us here grew up in this village, so we know every corner and almost every farmer around 281404. It isn’t a big fancy office with glass doors or anything like that. We spend most of our days talking to neighbors about their crops and how the soil is doing this year. Mathura gets really hot in the summer, so we usually start work early in the morning before the sun gets too strong. The dust from the road sometimes settles on everything, but that is just part of life in the village. We started this because people in Shergarh needed a way to get things done together. Pooranmal and the rest of the group sit out on the porch often to discuss what needs to be bought or sold. It’s a lot of paperwork sometimes, which can be a headache, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be some giant corporation. We just want to make sure the work gets done and that the folks living around here have a fair shot. We don't have a big sign, but the door is usually open for anyone who needs to chat about their harvest.
