Up here in Siddharthnagar, specifically in Sisai near the Bangawa post, we started Kishunpurva Farmer Producer Companylimited. It is a local thing where the farmers from around here come together. Most of us have been in Siddharth Nagar our whole lives. We know the soil and we know how the weather behaves in the 272151 zip code. The office is right there at 01 Sisai. It's a simple setup, nothing like those big offices you see in the city. We deal with whatever crops are in season. There are a lot of small farms in this area and it makes sense to work as one group. Sometimes the rain is too much and sometimes it isn't enough, so we talk about those things. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us. We spend our days making sure the members have what they need for their fields. If you come by, you’ll likely see us drinking tea and going over the logs or checking on the inventory. It is a quiet life in this part of Uttar Pradesh but the work is constant. We just wanted a way to manage our farming business without too much fuss. Being a producer company lets us do that. We are just local people trying to make a living from the land we have here in Sisai. We aren't looking to get famous, just to keep the harvests coming in year after year for the families here. It is steady, hard work but we are used to it.
