Jai Maa Chandi Farmer Producer Company Limited

It is mostly just us here in Hajauli, working out of Dhananjay Kumar Singh’s place, specifically Sachidasingh Ka Pura. We have been Jai Maa Chandi Farmer Producer Company Limited for a while now, though it feels like we just started yesterday when we were all just talking over tea about how to get things moving. The office isn't much to look at, just a room where we keep the papers and some grain samples sometimes. It gets real dusty when the winds pick up, but that is just part of being out here in the village. We spend a lot of time sitting around the table, trying to figure out the best way to move the harvest or what seeds everyone needs for the next season. It is not like those big city offices you see on television. We do not have fancy chairs or a front desk person. Usually, if someone comes by, they just find one of us or Dhananjay, and we talk right there. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside in the shade to finish the work. It is a bit slow some days, then suddenly everything happens at once when the crops are ready. We are just trying to keep things organized for the farmers around here so they don't have to worry about the small stuff by themselves. It's a lot of paperwork, honestly, more than I thought it would be when we first registered the name.
