About Viyay Institute Of Fine Arts – Art & Craft in Bengaluru
You can find us at No 64/Y in Rajajinagar. This is where we run our fine arts institute. It’s a place filled with the smell of paint, clay, and old paper. We have students coming in at different times of the day to work on their drawings or paintings. The rooms aren't huge, but they have enough light coming through the windows for people to see what they are doing. We’ve got easels tucked into corners and shelves overflowing with art supplies. It’s a bit messy, to be honest, but that’s how an art place usually looks when people are actually working. Rajajinagar is a busy area, but once you step inside, it feels a lot more focused. We don't have a corporate structure here. It’s just a few of us who know a thing or two about art, helping others learn the basics. Sometimes we just sit and draw alongside the students. We’ve had all sorts of people come through our doors over the years. Some stay for a long time, and others just come for a few weeks to try something new. We don't put on airs or pretend to be a world-class gallery. It’s just a local spot for people who want to pick up a brush and create something. It’s been our home for a while, and the walls are covered in half-finished sketches and colorful splashes.
