Sri Manjunatha Photo Frame Works & Art Gallery

Our shop is based at 1505 on 26th Main Road, Jayanagar 9th Block. The shop is called Sri Manjunatha Photo Frame Works & Art Gallery, though most people just know us for the framing. It’s a family business that’s been in this spot for a long time. The space is pretty packed with different kinds of frame moldings and stacks of cardboard. We’ve framed everything from small passport photos to big religious paintings. The saws we use are quite old but they still cut straight. We spend a lot of time measuring and making sure the glass is clean before we seal everything up. It’s not a high-tech job. We use hammers, nails, and a lot of glue. Our hands usually have a few small nicks from the glass edges. We have some local art on display too, mostly things that look good in a living room. We don't have a big philosophy about art. We just think if someone likes a picture, it should have a nice frame. Jayanagar is a quiet neighborhood and we know many of our neighbors by name. Sometimes we get behind on orders when a lot of people come in at once, but we try our best to catch up. We don't have a fancy website or an office. You just come to the shop and tell us what you need. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy every day.
