Serendip Art Ventures India

Serendip Art Ventures India is located at 211 Green Glen Layout, on the Sobha Main Road in Bellandur. It’s not a big fancy office. It’s more of a workspace where we keep our files and some of the art we are currently working with. We spend our days coordinating between artists and people who want to buy art for their homes or offices. It involves a lot of phone calls and sitting at our desks. Bellandur is always busy and the traffic outside can be a real headache, but we’ve gotten used to it. We aren't a traditional gallery with high ceilings and quiet rooms. We are more practical than that. We focus on the business side of art, making sure things get moved from one place to another without breaking. Sometimes we have to drive across the city to look at a new painting or meet a client. It’s just a small group of us running things. We don't have any corporate titles or big meetings. We just figure out what needs to be done and do it. The office is often a bit cluttered with bubble wrap and shipping crates. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we mostly rely on people hearing about us from others. It’s a lot of manual coordination and checking details. We just want to keep the venture going and help some artists sell their work.
