Motorcad Art is based out in Kadabeesanahalli, near Yemalur. This part of town has changed a lot lately, but we are still here doing our thing. Our space is more of a workshop than an office. There is always a bit of grease and paint around because of the kind of work we handle. We spend a lot of time looking at different designs and trying to figure out how to make them look right on the vehicles or whatever we are working on that day. It isn’t always clean and tidy, but that’s because we are actually busy using our hands. You might hear the sound of a compressor running or someone sanding down a surface. We get a lot of dust from the road outside, so we’re always wiping things down before we start. The light in the workshop is okay, but we often use portable lamps to see the details better. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few people who really know their way around this kind of art and machinery. Sometimes we just stand around a project for an hour talking about the best way to move forward before we even touch a tool. It’s a slow process sometimes, but that’s how it goes when you’re trying to get things to look a certain way. People find us because they know we’re tucked away here in Yemalur, away from the really crowded city center.
