Venus Art Gallery

Venus Art Gallery is over in Rajajinagar 619. It’s a quiet spot compared to the main market area. I spend a lot of time just moving frames around and cleaning the glass. People come by to look at the walls or ask about specific pieces we have hanging up. It isn't a massive space, but we make use of every corner. Sometimes the light comes in through the front window just right and hits the paintings. I usually have a coffee while I wait for someone to walk in. There is always something to do, like checking the wires on the back of the frames or re-arranging the floor layout. Rajajinagar is a nice neighborhood for a gallery. We get regulars who live nearby and just want to see if anything new has arrived. I don't use fancy words to describe the art. It’s just there for people to see. Some days are slow and I just sit behind the desk reading or fixing things. Other days get a bit busier when a few people arrive at once. The address 619 is easy to find once you are on the right street. We try to keep things neat, but there are always crates and packing materials in the back. It is just how it is when you run a small place like this on your own. There is no big marketing plan here, just the gallery door.
