Venkateshwara Ice Creams

If you are walking down Maruthi Nagar Main Road in the 2nd Stage, you will probably see our sign at number 70. Venkateshwara Ice Creams is just a small family place. We opened up because we saw there wasn't much for dessert around this part of Nagarbhavi. It’s mostly just me and my cousin working here every day. The freezer sometimes makes a bit of noise, but it keeps everything cold enough. We have the usual flavors you’d expect. Nothing too weird or experimental. Kids from the nearby school come in a lot after their classes are done. It gets loud then. We just serve the scoops and try to keep the floor from getting sticky. Sometimes we forget to restock the napkins on the tables, but you can always ask. It’s not a fancy lounge or anything like that. Just some plastic chairs and a few lights. We stay open pretty late because that's when most people want a treat after dinner. The traffic outside can be a bit much, but inside it’s okay. We don't have a big team or a marketing person. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for customers. It's been a few years now and we're used to the routine of this street. The street lights outside are a bit dim at night, but the shop stays bright enough for everyone.
