Sri Mahalakshmi Dairy

We are located at 158-A on Vysial Street. It’s been our spot for quite a while now. We handle the milk and dairy side of things every single day, starting very early when most people are still asleep. It’s usually pretty busy in the mornings with the deliveries coming in and out. People around the neighborhood know where we are because we’ve been here so long. We don't do much fancy stuff or have a big office, we just keep the milk moving and the containers clean. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit slower or the traffic on Vysial Street gets backed up, but we just keep to our routine. My family helps out with most of the tasks. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy crates and constantly checking the stock levels. Vysial Street is an old area with a lot of character, but it can get very loud. We just try to get all the orders ready before the sun gets too high and the heat starts. We don’t have a website or any marketing team. If you walk past 158-A, you'll see us there working. We have seen this street change a lot over the years. Some days are more chaotic than others, but we just stay focused on what needs to be done. It’s a very simple setup. We don't spend money on ads or anything like that. Word of mouth is how folks find us. It’s hard work, but it’s just what we do every day. We open early and close when the work is finally finished.
