Sri Ramakrishna Dairy

We are located at 179 on S. B. Road in Visveswarapuram. If you know the area, you know it’s a place with a lot of history and local shops. Our dairy has been a part of that for some time now. It’s not a big corporate building with glass walls. It’s a sturdy, older building that serves us well. We get the milk in early, usually before the sun is even up properly. The staff here has been with us through many seasons. We don't have a lot of rules about how to talk to customers, we just treat everyone fairly. The shop front is simple, with just the essentials. Behind that is where the real work happens, with the cooling tanks and the crates. It can be a bit damp and cold in the back, but that’s necessary for the dairy. We don't spend money on big signs or flyers. People in Visveswarapuram know where to get their milk and curds, and they just walk over. We have our regulars who come by at the same time every morning. It’s a nice rhythm to the day. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just trying to make sure the milk is fresh and the bottles are clean. Sometimes we run out of things if the demand is high, but that’s just how it goes with fresh products.
