Haagen Dazs Ice Cream Parlour

We’ve been here at the One Mg Road Mall for a while now. If you know Bangalore, you probably know where the Vivanta By Taj is on M G Road, we are just right across from there. It's on the ground floor, No. 1/2, so you don't have to look too hard once you get inside. Most days are just spent scooping ice cream and making sure the freezers are running right. It gets busy, especially on weekends when everyone is out shopping at the mall. We see a lot of people just stopping by after a movie or while they are waiting for friends. It’s a small spot but we try to keep things tidy. Sometimes the mall music is a bit loud but you get used to it. The staff here mostly lives nearby so we know the traffic patterns on Swami Vivekananda Road pretty well. It's a decent place to work if you like being around sweets all day. We mostly just focus on getting the orders right and making sure people have a seat if they want one. There isn’t much fancy about how we run things, just a regular shop doing its thing in a busy part of town. People come in, get their cup or cone, and head out. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but the mall stays pretty constant and we just keep our little parlour going every day.
