Britannia Industries Ltd

Our place is over at Britannia Gardens on Airport Road. It’s a big spot in Vimanapura. I’ve worked here for a bit now. You can usually smell the baking when you get close to the gates. It’s a busy site with trucks coming and going all hours. Most of us just show up, do our shifts, and head home. The office part is okay, but the real work happens where the machines are. Sometimes the traffic on Airport Road is a nightmare in the mornings. We have a lot of people working here in different sections. I see the same faces every day at the gate. We’ve got some gardens around the buildings, hence the name. It’s nice to sit out there for ten minutes if the weather isn't too hot. We make a lot of biscuits and bread. It's mostly just about keeping the lines running. We don't really think about being a huge company when we're inside. It feels like its own little town. People have been here for twenty years, some just started last week. We just get the pallets loaded and out the door. My desk is tucked away in a corner. We drink a lot of chai during the breaks. It’s a steady job. Vimanapura is a loud area because of the planes, but you get used to it. The address is pretty well known around here. We just keep the production moving every single day.
