Varna The Clay Arts

You can find Varna The Clay Arts at 97/3, just behind the City Central Library on the Main Road in Malleshwaram. It’s a bit of a quieter spot since we are tucked behind the main library building, which is nice because it gets us away from the worst of the traffic noise. The shop is full of various pieces we’ve collected and arranged over the years. Malleshwaram is a great area with a lot of history, and being near the library means we get a lot of students and older residents walking past our door. We spend a lot of our time dusting the items and making sure nothing gets broken, as space is a bit tight inside. It’s not a fancy gallery or anything, just a small room where we keep our stock. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit damp because of the old building, but we manage. We don't have a big staff, so if you come in, you'll probably talk to one of us who handles everything from the cleaning to the accounts. It’s a simple way to run a business. We don't do much in the way of marketing, we just keep the doors open and wait for people who appreciate the kind of things we have. It’s a hands-on job and our hands are often a bit dirty from moving the stock around. That’s just how it is here.
