The Edge-Ice Creams

We opened this place on a corner in Koramangala 103 a few years back. It’s mostly just us scooping out stuff for whoever walks in. The freezers make a bit of noise sometimes but they keep everything frozen. We aren't doing anything fancy. Just buckets of different flavors in the back. Some days it gets crowded with kids from the nearby colleges and other days it’s pretty quiet. We try to keep the floors clean but when it’s raining outside people bring in a lot of mud. It’s a small space. There isn't much room to sit down so most people just take their cone and walk around the neighborhood. We buy the milk and cream every couple of days. Sometimes we run out of the popular stuff early and we have to tell people we're sorry. That’s just how it goes here. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how the machines work. We keep the lights on until late most nights because that’s when people seem to want something cold. It’s not a big corporate operation. Just a regular ice cream shop. We've got the usual flavors you'd expect and maybe a few others we decided to try out. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun but people find us anyway. It’s a decent living and we get to talk to a lot of neighbors who live on this street.
