About Taal Institute Of Music Fine Arts – Art & Craft in Bengaluru
Taal Institute Of Music Fine Arts is situated in Arekere, right in Tagore Nagar. The building number is 1058, and it’s a place where we spend most of our waking hours. This part of the city is quite green, which is nice when you’re walking to work in the morning. The institute itself is spread across a couple of rooms that we’ve filled with instruments and art supplies. It’s often a bit messy, with sheet music left on the stands and brushes soaking in jars, but that’s just how it goes when people are being creative. We don’t have a formal front desk, so if you walk in, you’ll usually find someone tuning a guitar or painting in the corner. The walls aren't soundproofed perfectly, so you can often hear a mix of different sounds coming from the different rooms, which can be a bit chaotic but it’s the usual atmosphere here. We keep a small kettle in the back for making tea during breaks. The students who come here are mostly from around the Tagore Nagar area, so there’s a real community feel to the place. We aren't a big corporate school; we’re just a small group of people who enjoy music and art and wanted a place to do it. It's a bit dusty sometimes and the furniture is a bit old, but it serves the purpose just fine for us.
