V K Narayana Swamy

The workshop is located at 41561 JP Nagar, right in the Aswamegh Industrial Estate on the 6th Cross. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where all the industrial work happens in this part of the city. I am V K Narayana Swamy and I spend most of my hours here at the estate. The area is full of other units making all sorts of things, from plastic parts to heavy machinery. Our place is just one of many, with a high ceiling and a lot of heavy equipment sitting on the concrete floor. It gets very dusty because of all the trucks moving on the dirt tracks outside. We don't have any fancy signs or a reception area. If you come looking for us, you will probably find me in the back checking on a machine or talking to one of the workers. We do a lot of manual work here, and our hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning. The 6th Cross is a bit narrow, so when a big delivery comes, everything else has to stop for a bit. We've been here for a good while and have seen the estate grow around us. It is hard work and the hours are long, but it feels good to finish a job and see the parts loaded onto a truck for delivery. We just keep our heads down and work.
