Veena Bhagavath

This is where I work, at 23 Jayanagar Ist Block. It’s tucked away behind Jala Bhavan, so it stays pretty quiet compared to the main roads. My name is Veena and I’ve been doing this for quite some time now. Most people find me through word of mouth. I don’t have any big signs out front or anything. The building is a bit old but it’s home to me. I keep things simple here. My desk is usually covered in papers and my coffee cup. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat for a bit. It’s that kind of place. I don’t really follow a strict corporate schedule. I’m usually here in the mornings and then again later after lunch. If the gate is open, I’m inside. Jayanagar is a nice area with lots of trees. I like being back here near the water building because it is peaceful. I’ve lived in this city all my life. Things change fast but this little corner stays the same mostly. I do my work and keep my records. It’s not a big operation, just me and occasionally a helper if things get backed up with too much to do. I don't use much technology besides my phone and an old computer that still works. If you are looking for me, just head past Jala Bhavan and look for the gate at number 23. I have tea on the porch most afternoons if it is not raining.
