The Arts

We are located at 42/ 43 Srirampuram 4th Main, right in the Nagappa Block. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address on Mahakavi Kuvempu Road, but most people just know we are near Devaiah Park. The Arts is a place where we get together to work on different projects. It’s not a fancy gallery or anything like that. It’s more of a workspace where things actually get made. We’ve been in this part of Srirampuram for a while now. The 4th Main can get pretty busy with people walking to the park or heading towards the main road. Inside, it's usually a bit of a mess with supplies and half-finished pieces laying around. That’s just how we work. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us covered in paint or dust. We like being in this neighborhood because it feels real. There’s a lot of history in these streets around Nagappa Block. We just focus on the craft and trying to make things that look decent. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due. You can usually find someone here if you knock on the door at 42/ 43. We don't mind the noise from Mahakavi Kuvempu Road too much as we work.
