Natyadhare

Natyadhare is based out of Gowdanpalya in the Uttarahalli area. We’re located at No.49, which is quite close to the Uttarahalli bus stop. That bus stop is a major landmark for us because everyone knows it. It’s a pretty traditional part of Bangalore, and we like the feel of the neighborhood. We started this because we wanted to do something related to the arts and events right here where we live. The space isn’t very big, but it serves its purpose. We spend our days coordinating different things and making sure everything is in place. Sometimes the office gets crowded with stuff, but we manage to find what we need. It’s a very hands-on job. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work. People in C K Sandra often see us coming and going. The local shops know us well by now. We try to stay practical about how we handle things. If someone needs something, we see if we can do it. There are no fancy speeches here. It’s just about getting the job done. Sometimes we are working late into the evening, especially when there’s a big event coming up. The bus stop nearby is always busy, so there’s always a bit of life right outside our door. It’s been a good journey so far, just taking things one day at a time. We are just a few people trying to make a living and helping out with local gatherings.
