Swirls Ice Cream

We opened Swirls Ice Cream in Immedihalli Phase 1 because there weren't many places to get a cold treat around this part of town. It is located at 41281 and it is a very small shop, mostly consisting of just a couple of freezers and a serving counter. We don't have a lot of fancy chairs for people to sit. Most customers just grab their cone and walk around the neighborhood or head home. It gets really crowded on Sunday evenings when families are out for a stroll. We try to keep a good variety of flavors in stock but sometimes the delivery truck is late and we run out of the popular ones like vanilla or chocolate. Dealing with the frequent power cuts is probably the hardest part of running an ice cream shop in this area. We actually had to buy a generator just to keep things from melting during the day. It’s a lot of maintenance work that most people don't really think about. My sister helps me out during the busy afternoon hours. We aren't trying to be some big national chain or anything like that. We just like seeing the kids from the local school come in for a scoop after their classes are over. Some of those kids have been coming here since we first started years ago. The floor gets a bit sticky by the end of the day, so cleaning up takes us a long time. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop where we keep the lights on and the freezers cold.
