Sri Rangaswappa & Sons

Sri Rangaswappa & Sons has been a fixture on Magadi Road for a long time. You can find us right near the Gayathri Flour Mill, which is a landmark most people in the area know. Our shop is a bit of an old-school place where we keep things organized the way we’ve always done it. It’s a family-run spot, so you’ll usually see a few of us behind the counter or moving stock in the back. The air around here often smells like grain from the mill next door. We deal with various goods, and our inventory tends to change based on what people are asking for that month. It’s a busy road, and we get a lot of noise from the trucks passing by, but we’re used to it. Customers come in for all sorts of things, and they usually stay for a bit of a chat. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. Everything is just laid out where it can be reached easily. We mostly know most of the people who walk in by their first names already. It's a lot of manual work, lifting bags and counting items, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the ledger gets a bit messy, but we know where everything stands. It’s just a regular local business trying to provide what the neighborhood needs without making a big deal out of it. We just keep the doors open and the shop running every day of the week except Sundays. It's been that way for years.
