Brindavan Stores

Our shop, Brindavan Stores, is located at 31 Chamrajpet, right near Mahatma Wadi on the Khatodara Main Ring Road. It’s a place where we sell all sorts of things that people need for their homes. From the moment we open the shutters in the morning, there’s usually someone waiting to buy something. We have shelves packed with goods, and sometimes it’s hard to find where we put everything. It’s a small space, so it gets crowded quickly. We don't have any of those self-checkout machines or fancy displays. It’s just us behind the counter, weighing things out or bagging items up. We’ve seen kids grow up in this neighborhood and now they come in with their own children. That’s the nice part about being a local store. We talk to our customers about their families and the weather while we handle their change. The Ring Road is always busy with traffic, so there’s a constant hum of engines in the background. We keep the floor swept and try to keep the stock fresh, but it’s a never-ending job. We aren't part of some big chain of stores. We are just a local business trying to provide what the neighborhood needs. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until night. We like it that way because it makes the day go by fast. It is just a normal shop run by normal people for the local folks.
