You can find us at 225, right near the Bus Stand on MG Road in Vivek Nagar. Being so close to the bus stand means there is never a quiet moment. People are always rushing in and out, trying to grab something before their bus leaves. We carry all the general stuff you’d expect, like snacks, soap, household items, and some stationery. The shop is usually a bit of a scramble because we are constantly restocking the things that sell out fast. We have boxes sitting in the aisles sometimes while we wait for a quiet moment to put things away. MG Road is always loud, and the sound of the buses and horns is just background noise to us now. The building is older, so it has its quirks, like a floor that isn’t perfectly level and shelves that lean a little bit. We don't have fancy displays; we just put the goods where they fit. Sometimes we talk to the commuters who are waiting for their ride, hearing stories from all over the city. Vivek Nagar has its own feel, and being right by the transport hub makes us feel right in the middle of it. We stay open late because that’s when the last buses come through. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and dealing with change, but we like the pace. It’s a simple, honest shop for the neighborhood.
