Km Mushrooms

Km Mushrooms is based at No.811 on the second floor. We are in the 12A Cross area of the 2nd Phase. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs to the office, but it’s a good enough spot once you get there. We spend most of our time managing the mushroom business from this small space. It isn't a farm right here in the office, but this is where all the planning and the phone calls happen. We deal with different types of mushrooms and make sure they get to the shops and kitchens where they belong. The area around 12A Cross is usually pretty busy with people going to work or heading home. We have a few simple desks and some shelves for our samples and logbooks. It gets a bit humid sometimes, especially during the rainy season, but we just keep the windows open when the weather is nice. We are just a small group of people working together. We started this because we saw a real need for a steady supply in the local market. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s interesting enough for us. We have a lot of boxes and crates moving in and out every week. Sometimes the delivery bikes get stuck in the traffic nearby, and we have to spend the whole afternoon on the phone sorting it out. We don't have any big corporate plans. We just want to make sure the mushrooms are delivered on time. It is a simple operation.
