Sri Manjunatha Milk Supply

Our place, Sri Manjunatha Milk Supply, is in Doddanekkundi at Marathahalli Colony 1. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The work we do is pretty straightforward but it starts very early in the morning. Usually, we are up and moving before 4:00 AM. That is when the milk trucks arrive and we start sorting everything out. It is cold and quiet at that hour, which is actually the best part of the day. By the time most people are waking up, we have already done half our work. We supply milk to the houses and small shops around the colony. It involves a lot of lifting heavy crates and making sure nothing leaks. The floor of our place is usually a bit wet from the ice and the cleaning we do. We do not have an office with fancy chairs. Most of the time we are just standing or moving around. It is a physical job and it gets tiring on the back after a while. We know almost everyone in the neighborhood by their first name. We do not have a mission statement or anything like that. We just make sure the milk gets to where it needs to go every single day without fail. Even if it is raining hard, we are out there. It is just what we do here in Doddanekkundi.
