You can find Sri Manjunatha Arts over in Banashankari 2nd Stage. We are right by Dariapur Darwaja, which is a well-known spot for anyone living around here. The Ganesha Temple is just a short walk away, so it’s always busy with devotees and flowers on festival days. Our shop at 150 is a modest place. It’s where we do all our painting and creative work. There are usually cans of paint and brushes scattered around. The smell of thinner is something you get used to quickly. I started this a long time ago because I liked working with my hands. It’s not a polished gallery or anything like that. It’s a workshop where things get messy. We have a small bench outside where customers can sit while we talk about what they need. The light in the morning is the best for seeing the colors correctly. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood stop by to watch us work. We don’t follow a strict schedule; if there’s a lot to do, we stay late. The walls are covered in old sketches and bits of leftover projects. It’s a very local vibe. People come here because they want something done by hand, not something printed out by a machine. We just take it one day at a time and try to do an honest job.
