Sri Lakshmi Srinivasa Palour

Kodigehalli is where you will find us, right at the Jagdish Vitthal Pole area. The address is 106/7, but most people just look for the shop with the blue fridge outside. Sri Lakshmi Srinivasa Palour has been here serving the neighborhood for quite a while now. We sell milk, curd, and some basic snacks that people grab on their way home. The morning is our busiest time because everyone wants their dairy before breakfast. I usually get here while it is still dark to take the deliveries from the truck. The shop is small and the floor is made of old stone that stays cool even when it is hot outside. We have a couple of chairs, but they are usually occupied by the older men from the street who like to sit and talk about the news. I don't mind it as long as they don't block the way for other customers. Sometimes we run out of change, so I have to run over to the tea stall to break a bigger note. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes, especially when the school bell rings and the kids come in for their sweets. We don't do anything special here, just keep the milk cold and the snacks fresh. It’s a simple life and we are happy to be a part of this little corner of the city. We don't have any big plans to expand, just staying here is enough.
