Sky Arts

Down here at Kamakshi Palya on Harni Road we spend most of our time surrounded by paints and scraps of material. Sky Arts is just a small shop really and things get pretty cluttered when we have a big project going on. Vadodara is hot today so the fan is running non-stop in the back room. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. People just walk in off Harni Road 611094 and talk to us about what they need. Sometimes the floor is covered in shavings or paint drips but that's just part of the job. I’ve been working here for a few years and the street has changed a lot but we’re still in the same spot. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic outside but you get used to it after a while. We usually have the radio playing some old songs while we work. It’s not a corporate setup at all. Most of the time our hands are dirty and we’re just trying to finish things before the sun goes down. If you come by you’ll probably see us moved some tables outside to get more light. The address is easy to find once you get into the Kamakshi Palya area. We’re just regular people trying to make a living doing what we know. We drink our tea outside.
