Shubham Dairy Products

Our day at Shubham Dairy Products starts way before most people in the city are even awake. We are down on S K Bole Road in the Bommanahalli area, specifically at number 10. The delivery trucks come in very early with the fresh milk, and we have to get everything sorted and put away quickly. It’s cold and damp work sometimes, handling the heavy crates and making sure the fridge units are running right. We’ve been serving the local families around this part of town for a good while. You eventually get to know what everyone wants, like who needs extra curd for their lunch or who's looking for fresh paneer for a weekend dinner. The shop isn't huge or fancy, just enough room for the counters and the cooling storage in the back. Bommanahalli gets very noisy and crowded as the day goes on, so those quiet early morning hours are actually quite nice and peaceful. We don't spend any money on fancy decorations or bright paint. The walls are pretty plain and the floor is just simple concrete because it's much easier to wash down at the end of the shift. It's a basic business but it's an important one. People need their milk every single day, no matter if it's raining or the sun is blazing. We try to be consistent with our timing. Sometimes we run out of things if the morning delivery is late, but that’s just life.
