Shiksha Super Markets

Shiksha Super Markets is located at 487/45 in Basavanagudi. This is one of the older parts of Bangalore South, and we really love it here. It is not like those massive malls where you get lost. We are a bit smaller, more like a neighborhood store where you can actually find what you need. The aisles are a bit narrow because we try to fit in everything our customers ask for. From bars of soap to bags of dal, we have it all on the shelves somewhere. Sometimes the crates are stacked a bit high in the corners. We are working on cleaning that up. It is a family-run kind of vibe here. You will see the same people at the counter every single day. We don't have any of those self-checkout machines. We actually like talking to our customers when they pay. It is how we find out what else we should be selling next month. If someone wants a specific brand of coffee, we try to find it for them. The traffic in Basavanagudi can be a total mess, but people still walk over to see us. We stay open pretty late to make sure everyone gets their shopping done after they finish work. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the city. We just want to be the one the neighbors can trust. It is a lot of heavy lifting and counting stock, but it is good work. We feel like we belong here.
